If you are hiring a supercar to photograph it, this is where you should be. Putrajaya was built with monumental architecture, enormous boulevards, symmetrical bridges and almost no residential density, which means that on a Sunday morning you can find a six-lane road with a mosque or a ministry building framing the end of it and no traffic at all. Persiaran Perdana, the Seri Wawasan bridge approach and the Precinct 2 boulevard are the three we send people to most often.

Cyberjaya next door is quieter still and better for actually driving. The road network there was overbuilt for a population that never quite arrived, so you get wide, freshly surfaced dual carriageways with long sightlines and very few junctions. Persiaran Multimedia and the loop around the tech park are as close as the Klang Valley gets to a road where a rear-drive car can be enjoyed without immediately becoming antisocial.

Two practical points. First, enforcement in Putrajaya is real — the boulevards are patrolled, the limits are posted low relative to how the road feels, and the fines are administered by a jurisdiction that does not negotiate. Second, if you are shooting, keep the car moving between setups. Static shoots with tripods on the main ceremonial boulevards attract attention from Perbadanan Putrajaya, and a permit conversation is not how you want to spend your rental day. Everything you need is available in the Precinct 4 and Precinct 5 side roads with no fuss at all.
