Driving and delivering in Mont Kiara
Mont Kiara is the single most requested delivery point on our board, and it is also the one that needs the most planning. Almost every handover here happens in a condominium basement, and almost every one of those basements has a ramp built for a Vios. A Huracán has 105mm of ground clearance with the nose lift down; the same car with the front axle raised clears 145mm. We use the lift on the way in, we use it on the way out, and we walk the ramp with you on the handover so you know exactly where the scrape point is before you are the one holding the keys.
The driving itself is genuinely good. Jalan Kiara and Jalan Duta Kiara give you a clean, lightly trafficked run down towards Sprint Highway, and from the Penchala Link portal you are on a two-lane uphill sweep that is one of the few places inside the city limits where a naturally aspirated engine gets to stretch past 4,000 rpm legally. Head north instead and Jalan Duta puts you on the NKVE inside four minutes, which is the fast way to the Karak and everything beyond it.
Practical notes for Mont Kiara renters: guard-house registration is normally required, so send us the visitor plate-registration details the day before and we will pre-clear the car. Most management offices in the area cap visitor parking at a set number of hours, which matters if you are keeping the car for a week. And if you are in one of the older towers on Jalan Kiara 1, tell us — a couple of those have a 1.8m height bar that rules out delivering the Urus or the Cullinan on a flatbed.

† RM / bhp is the daily self-drive rate divided by the manufacturer’s brake horsepower, to one decimal. It is a blunt instrument — it ignores tyre width, kerb weight and where the torque actually lives — and it is still the fastest way to see what a badge is charging you. Power bars are scaled against 565 bhp.

Questions
View all →Mont Kiara deliveries — asked and answered
How quickly can you deliver a supercar to Mont Kiara?+
We quote 90 minutes, condo basement or lobby from confirmation, and the run from our Subang Jaya base takes about 28 minutes off-peak. Book the day before if the handover point is a condominium — visitor plate registration is the thing that slows deliveries down, not the drive.
Is there anywhere near Mont Kiara actually worth driving?+
Nearest highway: Sprint / Penchala Link. Ramp risk: High — nose lift mandatory. To Sepang: 62 km. For a proper drive, everyone in the Klang Valley ends up on the same four roads — the Karak, the old Genting climb, the Ulu Yam loop and the Guthrie Corridor. Our route write-up covers what each one is actually like.
Do I need to be present for the handover in Mont Kiara?+
Yes. The named driver has to be there with the licence, the IDP if you are visiting, and the card for the deposit hold. We film the walkaround inspection with you present and send you the file before we leave — that video protects you more than it protects us.
